Kitesurf courses at Lake Resia
What awaits you in summer with us

Surely you have many questions: What are the main steps in a kite course? Which course types do you offer? And how much does it cost? We will clarify everything here.

Our summer season at Lake Resia runs from mid-May to the end of September. We offer beginner courses as well as advanced courses. You can choose whether you would like to be taught in a small group of four people, in pairs or privately. As a certified VDWS school, you can do your kite license or a level upgrade with us during the course.

Beginners’ courses
Beginners’ courses

Never steered a kite before, but you would like to learn how to do it? We’ll help you to get the kite under control in your first flight attempts on our training area. You will get to know everything about setup and safety and have the opportunity to ask all your questions about kitesurfing.

Once you’ve mastered that well, we’ll slip into the wetsuit and off we go into the water! We’ll take you to a quiet place at the lake with our boat so that you can fully concentrate on your learning process. Together we will get you to coordinate kite and board and maybe even ride your first meters on the water.

Advanced courses
Advanced courses

Safety system, body drag and twintip are no longer foreign words for you? Well then, welcome to the advanced course! Tell us your personal goals and we will tailor the course to you and your needs.

The great thing about kiting is that you can always learn something new. In the advanced course we will help you to ride upwind, give you freestyle tips, show you how to use soft kites and teach in hydrofoiling. No matter what skill level you are at, with us you will reach your next kite level.

Procedure & prices
Everything at a glance

Choose your desired course type and number of lessons and tell us the period in which you would like to complete the course. On average, we need two to three days for an eight-hour course. Due to the fact that the course depends on wind and weather, we always plan an additional reserve day.

The kite course starts on the agreeed date at 10:00 a.m. at the kite station in Curon. Please bring your swimwear, a towel and sunscreen to the course. All the kite equipment we need – from helmet to board – is included in the course price.
